- AppHud — for subscription management and revenue analytics

1.3 Required Permissions
Camera and Gallery Access: SmartScan PDF requires access to your device’s camera for document capture and to your gallery for selecting existing images.
These images are used exclusively for document scanning and are stored locally on your device.

- To provide Application functionality and process document scanning requests
- To manage subscriptions and provide access to premium features
- To improve and develop our Application using analytics data

3. Use of Analytics Services
3.1 AppHud
We use AppHud for subscription management and revenue analytics. AppHud acts as a data processor and handles subscription information in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.

We place great importance on the security of your data and apply industry-standard practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security controls, including encryption and strict confidentiality contractual obligations for employees and contractors.

5. Personal Data Storage
- Local Storage: All documents, images, and files created or processed by SmartScan PDF are stored locally on your device. The application creates a dedicated folder on your device where all scanned documents are saved.
- Retention Period: We retain your data no longer than necessary for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy. Analytics data may be retained for 26 months for product improvement purposes.
6. How We Share Your Personal Data
We do not share your data with other companies, organizations, and individuals, except in the following cases:
- Analytics Services: We share anonymized usage data with Google (Firebase), Amplitude, and AppHud for analytics and product improvement purposes.

7.1 Access, Correction, and Portability
You can access most of your basic data directly in SmartScan PDF. You have the right to obtain a copy of certain data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
7.2 Withdrawal of Consent
In most cases, if you have allowed us to use your data, you can withdraw your permission by changing settings in the app or on your device. You can disable ad tracking in iOS settings.
7.3 Subscription Management
You can manage your subscriptions through App Store settings on your device. Subscription cancellation does not affect already processed transaction data.
7.4 Data Deletion
You can delete some information in the app, such as scanned documents. To request deletion of analytics data, contact us using the contact information below.
8. Children’s Data Processing
Our services are not intended for persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 16 years of age. We understand the importance of protecting children's personal information.
9. Cross-Border Data Transfer
To provide you with our services, we operate globally and will comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations in your country/territory.
When transferring data from the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland to non-EEA countries,
