Camera and Gallery Access: SmartScan PDF requires access to your device’s camera for document capture and to your gallery for selecting existing images. These images are used exclusively for document scanning and are stored locally on your device.

3. Use of Analytics Services

3.1 AppHud

We use AppHud for subscription management and revenue analytics. AppHud acts as a data processor and handles subscription information in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.

We place great importance on the security of your data and apply industry-standard practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. • Local Storage: All documents, images, and files created or processed by SmartScan PDF are stored locally on your device. The application creates a dedicated folder on your device where all scanned documents are saved.

In most cases, if you have allowed us to use your data, you can withdraw your permission by changing settings in the app or on your device. You can disable ad tracking in iOS settings.

7.3 Subscription Management

You can manage your subscriptions through App Store settings on your device. Subscription cancellation does not affect already processed transaction data.

7.4 Data Deletion

You can delete some information in the app, such as scanned documents. To request deletion of analytics data, contact us using the contact information below.

8. Children’s Data Processing

Our services are not intended for persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 16 years of age. We understand the importance of protecting children's personal information.
